Free Cyber-safety Evening for Parents Tomorrow Night.

“How do I keep my children safe online?”
“How can I protect my child’s privacy?”
“How can I stop cyberbullies?”
“What tools can I use to keep our family safe online?”

These are just a few of the questions parents have and this is your opportunity to ask the expert from Netsafe NZ and learn from them…for free!

It will be held tomorrow night on Monday 18th October at 6.00 pm in the School library.

Please come along and encourage others to come along too.

Important reminders and updates

We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful sunny day today and have had a great break away with your kids.
Here are some important reminders and updates to be aware of.

CYBERSAFETY NIGHT THIS MONDAY
This is a free information evening for all parents (and your friends) that would like to learn how to support your child online and practical tips to keep them safe. It will be held in the library at 6.00 pm. Please get your friends together and come along. This evening will be run by a Netsafe expert.

COVID LEVEL 2
Please remember while we are in Level 2 that you need to sign in at the tracking stations when you come on-site to keep our records up to date as well as use your tracking app to keep your records up to date.

NEW COVID RULES FOR BUS TRANSPORT
Please be aware there has been a change to COVID expectations that will affect your child if they are 12 years and over.
Face coverings are now required to be worn by students aged 12 and over while on school transport (both Ministry and regional council-operated services) under all alert levels.
This includes EOTC trips and technology school transport services. This especially affects our Year 7 and 8 students who travel by bus on Fridays to Kuranui – they now need to bring their own mask to school every Friday.
Students aged 12 and over are also required to wear face coverings on public transport.

LAMB AND CALVES MORNING
This is happening on Friday 22nd October. Further information will be sent out next week.
