New entrant visits at Greytown School
Once your child turns 5, you can choose any of the starting dates below. They can’t start before they turn 5 but must start by the time they turn 6.
Examples of this are:
Child A: This child’s birthday falls on Sunday 11th May.
Their family can choose for them to start on Monday 12th May (the day after their birthday) or Monday 26th May (the next intake start date). They could also choose a later intake start date as long as their child begins school by the time they turn 6 years old.
Child B: Child B’s birthday is on Thursday 1st May.
Their family can choose for their child to begin school on Thursday 1st May (their birthday), Friday 2nd May (the day after their birthday) or Monday 26th May (the next intake start date). They could also choose a later intake start date as long as their child begins school by the time they turn 6 years old.

*Children may start school on one of the following dates: NOTE: Visiting dates are in red. There will be two visits for each child. If needed, extra visits will be arranged on a case by case basis, after observations of the child and a conversation between the teacher and parents/caregivers. Most children will only need two visits. |
